Kettal have received the National Design Prize 2010 ‘for their exemplary use of design in their business strategy and for their commitment to the environment and sustainability, and for innovating their products and industrial processes’.
Kettal BOB armchair wins wallpaper* design award 2011
Hella Jongerius has designed a garden club set for Kettal called Kettal Bob: a new take on the traditional garden club chair. The dark aluminium frame lends solidity to the front, while the back is noteworthy for its elegant light construction. The seat consists of large, soft rods, highlighted by visible stitching. The details on the armrests and Kettal Bob footstool handles and side table use twisted cord.
Mere Golf Resort and Spa is launched featuring restaurant and poolside furniture from PS Interiors. This installation includes furniture from the exclusive Potocco range and the Elide armchair.

The newly launched Mere Golf Resort and Spa has just seen the first phase of its multi-million pound development completed with the launching of the new Wellness centre. The country club is to see further development this year with the construction of an 80 bedroom hotel next to the existing property. The Wellness centre now puts Mere on the map as one of the finest Golf Resort’s and Spa’s in the North West, with the addition of the Hotel it will become one of the finest in England. The resort already boasts one of the best Golf courses around and is also one of the warm up courses for the future British Open.
The latest contract outdoor collections are available to download and view online now. This year’s collection features the award winning BOB range, designed by Hella Jongerius and the BITTA range, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni.
Mondano Designs have been awarded the contract to supply Lineal modules, designed by Catalan Designer Miguel Mila, to the Ministry of Tourism offices throughout Catalunya.
The first deliveries of more than 60 modules will be made during December, followed by more in the New Year.
